Program Description:

The human resource major provides 21st-century skills and practical knowledge of human resource functions in a private- or public-sector organizational setting. The major prepares you for work or graduate study in business administration and human resources, and, through the proper selection of courses, for the Human Resource Generalist, Advanced Human Resource Generalist, and International Human Resource Management Certification Examinations.

The human resource management curriculum includes studies in labor relations, women's perspectives, management and organization theory and behavior, international business, organizational change, communication, culture, and conflict or stress management.
